Why are all of the other networks except CNN reporting that Palin "UNLAWFULLY" abused her power??

Doesn't look like the conclusion argees with that (none / 0)

Uunlawful

Sounds like they conclude no actual laws were broken, but she did abuse her office...

Here's the unlawful thing:  she violated the Ethics Act by not stopping Todd from using the office and authority of the Governor to put "impermissible pressure" on a bunch of subordinates, in the interest of pursuing a personal matter.  From what I understand, this is a real law, whose violation carries something resembling teeth.

Re: Palin Abused Powers (none / 0)

CNN are  to my mind the most spineless oreganization braodcasting today.
Last night Blitzer was talking to a former Palin aide in Alaska and  one of the things he  said to her was.. " Gov.Palin  has been  causing quite a stir on the campaign trial by  whooping the crowds in such a frenzied state that some people have been  seen and heard  saying things ,which "some might say " were hateful and inciteful" He actually said  that "some might say" that yelling "kill him" and "die Obama"  was hateful and inciting violence "Some might say that??  WWWHAT??!
What a wet station that is and Blitzer in particular is without backbone.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/1 0/politics/main4514596.shtml?tag=topStor y;topStoryHeadline

"Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report by a bipartisan panel that investigated the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain."

A law is a law, correct? What am I missing?

What about the children? (none / 0)

I thought the Palin's claimed that Todd was taking care of the kids while his wife played Governor. If, prior to the McCain Vice Presidency bonanza, Todd spent half of his time in the Governor's office (per the report), who was taking care of the kiddies? No wonder Palin has a son who was involved in vandalism and a pregnant, under-age daughter.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/10/p alin.investigation/index.html

"Gov. Palin knowingly permitted a situation to continue where impermissible pressure was placed on several subordinates in order to advance a personal agenda," the report states.

"her efforts to get Wooten fired broke a state ethics law that bars public officials from pursuing personal interest through official action."

Yes, CNN seems to have corrected their initial report on this matter.

SHE BROKE A STATE LAW AND VIOLATED THE PUBLIC TRUST!

She is a vindictive, spiteful, vixen.....
