Clinton: Commanding Lead in Kentucky, Tight Race in Oregon

CNN News is reporting that Hillary Clinton has an overwhelming lead of 30% points in Kentucky,while Obama has only a modest lead in Oregon. The ARG and Suffolk polls also showing an even tighter contest in Oregon.

According to the Clinton campaign the race is still up for grabs, as Hillary is contesting the popular vote totals as well as the GE electoral map, both of which she claims to be leading in.

by 10 in Oregon, hillary will claim a massive victory. If Hillary wins by 10 in KY, she'll claim a massive victory.

ARG is very unreliable, and pinning hopes to such a poll is dangerous. Cross tabs in those polls mentioned is a bit out of whack. While SUSA (O +13) is not infallible they have a much better track record then ARG or Suffolk, combine this with the other good predictors and it is a slim to none change Mrs Clinton will be close in OR. She does win big in KY though. Undecideds may not be in her favor, but that's hard to ascertain.

Sorry, the nomination is not really up for grabs, and will be even less so after tomorrow.

Cheers for a big Nov defeat of McCain though.

Who cares polls are polls and CNN is showing a 10 point difference. So 5, 10, 12, what difference does it make, it is still much closer than the blowout we will see in Kentucky tomorrow, in which Hillary will once again pick up many popular votes. HINT: More than 1 million will be voting in Kentucky.

I'm not pouting rather expressing myself. We do not have a nominee! I will not fall for that line. BTW: Looks more and more like the Convention in Denver is going to be packed with protesters pending what happens on May 31. In addition thousands of women are going to line the streets of Denver as well.

This is just too bizarre. A poster named Steve - presumably a man - is threatening that "thousands of women are going to line the streets of Denver." Now how the heck would you know? There might be people lining the streets but how would you know they are women? Who are you to speak for women? Reminds of the man who leads "Concerned Women of America."

It is looking more and more likely that even a full FL and MI seating will not affect the delegate count enough, so yeah we do have a few more contests to get through, but the Rules committee is the only unknown at this point, and that is even becoming more and more insignificant as time goes on.

Once again the likely results in this weeks primary is going to be similar to the week of North Carolina/Indiana in that it will show that both candidates have strengths and both have some weakness. So if there is a message to be carried away tomorrow that is it. The results will not alter the overall standings in the race. However it does show that we need to combine our strengths so that we can offset our weakness. We must unite our party. It's as simple as that.

PPP got PA wrong but NC right. I suspect PPP got Obama's number right and SUSA got Clinton's: 58-42

In KY, it's 64-32-4.

OR: 31O-21C
KY: 32C-19O

The KY numbers put Obama over the halfway pledged delegate count (without FL/MI).
